Stealth-mode robotics startup

Validating a Robotics Concept

An early-stage concept for a mobile care robot needed to move from an ambitious idea towards a technically credible proposition.

Code & Motion evaluated the required robotic hardware, proposed a practical system architecture and identified the engineering, integration and deployment challenges that would need to be addressed.

The resulting technical insight gave the founding team a stronger foundation for developing and presenting the concept to investors.

Consequential Robotics — Robotics Software & Education

Expanding an Educational Robotics Platform

Code & Motion developed new computer vision capabilities for MiRoCode, Consequential Robotics’ browser-based educational platform for teaching robotics and ROS with the MiRo-E robot.

The work introduced Blockly-based OpenCV tools that allowed students to build image-processing pipelines visually, inspect the results in the browser and use them to control either a simulated robot in the cloud or a physical MiRo-E on the local network.

The project extended the platform across its user interface, Python API and underlying ROS integration, making advanced robotics and computer vision concepts more accessible to university students.
